This is one of those documentaries that's on something so impossibly niche, but once you watch it you're never going to see the world the same way again. Like yeah, helvetica is fucking everywhere. This is also just generally a very fun website to poke around on for free documentaries!

What, why, and how Second Empire houses became haunted icons
I absolutely love everything that Kendra Gaylord makes and she absolutely desrves to have like a million subscribers! This is a great video to help you recognize Second Empire homes and a bit of their history but she is also just so hilarious and fun. I will never not point out a mansard roof now.
This is one that is just such an absurdly weird story that I couldn't believe I had never heard of it before I watched this documentary. Like this guy literally just built a tank and destroyed an entire town with it???

Disney's FastPass: A Complicated History
It should actually be illegal to write an autistic ass video essay list without including at least one Defunctland contribution, and this is the motherfucking blueprint. A story about waiting in lines for a roller coaster, and the real roller coaster was the video all along.

TikTok's Most Unlikely Superstar
I really love Kurtis Conner overall, but this video in particular is just a general antidote to irony poisoning.
